Dan's magnificent life and heroic struggle came to a peaceful end Tuesday, January 29, 2008 at 2:15am. He was surrounded by his dear family. Thank you all for your constant prayers and love.

exciting news from Kathy...
Dan just received a letter from the USTA New England and he has been chosen to receive the 2007 Gardner Ward Chase Memorial Bowl for outstanding contributions to New England tennis. This award will be presented at the 2008 Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony at the International Tennis Hall of Fame in Newport, Rhode Island on Saturday, June 21st. We will stand tall and proudly represent Dan at this event. I read this to Dan and he smiled with his face!! Once again, we are so proud!!

We at Partners In Adventure camp (for youth with physical developmental and emotional challenges), will miss Dan for all he has brought to us over the years that he's taught adaptive tennis at our camp.
Dan, easily embraced our "can do" mission with his own spirit and talent teaching us a lot about adapting tennis to kids with disabilities. He will be remembered with love and sincere appreciation for his sensitivity and skills. Thank you, Dan, for all you have done to bring tennis into the lives of young people with disabilities and for teaching us how to continue in the same spirit!
