Learned so much from you about strength, love, and friendship...

Dear Dan,
you have been a wonderful friend, a great coach, an amazing teacher, and most importantly, an inspiration. Over the last seven years since I started taking lessons at SFE when I was five, you have taught me about so much more than tennis. Whenever you gave me a pointer about my strokes and strategy, there always seemed to be a tip about life as well as advice that would greatly help my game. At one of my last lessons over the summer you told me that it's not about winning; it's about learning. During your battle with cancer I have learned so much from you about strength, love, and friendship. This is a gift that I will remember and treasure the most forever. You have been the best friend and teacher that I could ever ask for and I thank you so much for that. You are always in my thoughts and prayers. Lots of love, Sam Wulfson
