Special thanks from the Mousley family

Our 10 year old daughter Lexi has played with Dan over the past two years after we moved from the Middlebury area where she had been playing since she was 3 years old. It was a difficult time for our family. In a very short time, Dan had a profound impact on Lexi's life. Of course, Lexi's tennis skills improved steadily during her lessons. Dan contributed much more to Lexi's life, however. Dan read Lexi's personality perfectly which is no easy task! While Dan taught tennis, he often gently and directly spoke about important life lessons that he expected her to learn through the game. Dan taught Lexi to strive to do her best but to be kind to herself in the process. He taught her to have fun but to make a commitment. Most importantly he helped her to understand herself better and her self esteem improved greatly. We are so grateful to Dan. Thank you for understanding Lexi and what she needed. You made a profound impact on her life and she will carry those messages with her as she grows. Thanks also to Gabby for helping Dan to teach a private lesson with Lexi this summer which was a very, very important to her.
