Nothing but good will towards everyone

Hi Dan -
Suzie and I have heard through friends of the difficult turn in your health. We want you to know that our prayers are with you and your family. The strength and courage you have shown throughout your health battles has been inspiring to so many people. When my Mom was diagnosed with cancer I can clearly remember the discussions I had with you at BTC during the Jeff Stone Tournament, your advice and understanding were a comfort to me during a difficult time and of course your Mom, such a good friend to my mother, I'll always be grateful to both of you. I've always appreciated your attitude about competition, Fiercely competitive, yet never projecting anything but good will toward your opponent, and the ability to put athletic competition into perspective, such a great role model for Gabby, your students and us adults. Dan I have been out of tennis for a while. I now have a new racquet, one you donated to the auction at the tournament, because of that its' a pretty special frame, a nice reminder and an inspiration as I step back on the court. Our best thoughts and wishes to you and all of your family, Love Suzie and Bob
