You always believed in us...

I just want to say that, Dan, I am really going to miss your smiling face and positive encouragement next year at our soccer games. Thank you for the mugs you gave us with the chocolate inside after we finally won at Centennial! You always believed in us and your support has had a huge impact on my life since I first met you when you were one of my U12 Essex United coaches. You taught me how to play soccer and told me that if I practiced and wanted to be good, I could be good without a doubt, and that has honestly stayed with me nine years later now that I am playing at UVM. I don' think I would be playing soccer today if it wasn't for you and I will never forget the impact you've had on my life. You really are one of the most positive and influential people in my life. Even when I got to take a few tennis lessons from you, you had the same incredible ability to motivate me and I have yet to meet another coach and person like you. I'm glad that you got to watch Gabby play this year and score a goal and also that you are now in peace. Thank you for everything.
God bless.
