Hey Dan-. . . . What's this about talking over the divider at RE#2! What could there have possibly been to say about "Bobby D." Truly though, the best professional accomplishment you achieved at RE really did have to do with Bobby D. and keeping the Tennis Center true to your vision. I'll never forget hearing all of that noise below my office window and looking down to see you and Bobby D. having a heated philosophical conversation (which wasn't quite what we referred to it at the time though). What an orientation to the wonderful world of Racquet's Edge for our Tennis Director, on your second day (you didn't even have a chance to take off your slick Miami Italian loafers) and hearing that you better get some tennis programs underway . . . . or you'd be managing . . . . . that dreaded "m" word . . . a multi-purpose area, with volleyball standards being installed as he spoke! Well, I guess that conversation never needed to be revisited; you took that challenge and ran, literally-throughout the country. You put us on the map Dan, and with more thanks than I have ever been able to express, you took us all on the ride of a lifetime. Not many people share their dreams, impact so many lives and make such life altering progress in such a relatively short period of time. Our endless conversations will be deep within my heart for the rest of my life. I am so thankful to Kathy and Gabby for the many years of their understanding and willingness to share you.
You will always be loved. Jan & Matthew Riordan
