Peace and Love
Dan was admitted to the hospital this week. After a loving family meeting it was decided that he will go home today and begin Hospice. He will, of course, be comfortable. Kathy feels Dan is at peace with this decision and that he has entered a phase of acceptance. Gabby is at school and has access to counseling and support. Prayers and love are asked for at this time. Thank you all for your continuing support.

Dear Dan, Kathy and Gabby,
Well, we have so much history and so many good memories of times together -- tennis, of course; and all the jokes and fun with the Racquet's Edge Management team. I totally give Dan credit for taking my son one summer, undoing some bad feelings he had about tennis and making him feel good about himself and his game -- all Dan's doing because he cares so deeply about kids. Hang in there -- you're surrounded by the best team ever, your family. And know that we are a part of your extended family and love you very much!! Love, Karin and Dave Ericson

Thoughts and prayers from just one family of a huge tennis community.
Our best wishes, Michael, Jane, Myles and Max Moran
Dear Dan, Kathy and Gabby,
We just want to thank you Dan for being such a positive role model for our family. We weren't fortunate enough to learn tennis skills from you, but you taught us so much more about strength, love and living life to it's fullest. We know God is waiting for you with open arms!
The love and support that surrounds you all will get you through this difficult time.
We love you,
Cindy, Dani and Jessie
Hello. You don't know me but I am a friend of Dan's brother Mark. He shared this blog link with me today and I just wanted to say how very touched I am reading it. It's hard not to cry while reading it- I lost my sister this past June who was 35 years old to cancer so reading this blog really hits home!
It is such a beautiful tribute and very touching. You will all be in our thoughts and prayers.
