Dan, I benefitted so much having shared time with you last year. I have so many fond memories of the year I got to know you. You were inspiring to everyone. The strength and determination you showed in traveling all over the country to see Gabby play last season was out of this world. You were always so positive. I gained so much being in your presence and I am grateful to some of the life conversations we had. I hope I can be as strong a father and husband to my family as you were in yours. My fondest memory of the entire 2007 soccer season at UVM was sitting on a couch with you at Emily Milbank's house and drinking a cup of coffee. We talked about coaching and you shared with me an invaluable anecdote on how players grow, as people and as athletes. It will remain with me for the rest of my life. I loved seeing you in California. I loved walking out of the hotel in Binghamton and bumping into you. U2 will always remind me of you - and how I was lucky to be inspired by you.
